In response to the high heat index, the Barangay Hall now offers free umbrellas for use by residents who are visiting the hall for clearances or other government-related transactions that would otherwise require going to the municipal office or other agencies.
This initiative is spearheaded by the Barangay Council, especially under the leadership of Barangay Captain Hon. Ritchell S. Basillote.
The program is supported by Resolution No. 07, Series of 2024: “A Resolution Withdrawing Funds from DRRRM for the Current Issue of High Heat Index”, authored by BDRRM Committee Chair Hon. Sean Lloyd C. Wahing.
